Camp Hale Veteran’s Memorial Sled Dog Race

This race we will be honoring and remembering veterans and the sled dog history at Camp Hale. Classes include 2, 4, and 6-dog sled, 1, 2, and open class skijor, 1-dog fat bike, and fun run.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY- All Classes include racing for both Saturday and Sunday. Total times are a composite of both day’s times. Distance and total number of dogs allowed is outlined within each class.

Please note on your registration your experience level. If you enter pro classes you are an advanced musher, with experience passing or have competed in several races. If you enter sport classes you are a novice musher, with little passing experience or this is your first or second race.

RMSDC will also be honoring the spirit of the working dog by offering Registered Northern Breed (RNB) for all classes! If you fall into this category, please note that in your registration. After you register, the race coordinator will email you an additional required RNB form which must be completed and emailed back BY 2/5/25.

For participants only able to attend one day for a two day event use discount code “oneday” for $10 off.

For this race, there is an extra $20 for the weekend ($10 per day) VPWRA usage fee, so please remember to add that on to your registration. .Additionally, due to the small parking area we are limited to only 30 participants; FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!

Should the event be cancelled in anyway, all entries are 40% non- refundable.
