“The Iditarod Education Department and the Idaho Sled Dog Challenge are teaming up to present “Trailblazing Together” – an educators conference focused on STEM and using sled dog education as a means to boost engagement and improve learning outcomes in the classroom.
Open to educators everywhere! Join us June 13 – 15 in beautiful McCall, Idaho. You will receive standards-based STEM and other lessons and tools which you can use immediately when you return to school!

Field Trip Day:
visit Team Warren sled dog kennel, home of Laurie and her son Trevor Warren, Idaho dog sled race champions. Get up close and personal with their 4-footed athletes and learn the ins and outs of kennels, dog mushing, and racing.
take the real world of sled dogs and weave it into your curriculum for amazing learning and excitement for your students (and you!)
University of Idaho 1 credit of continuing education will be available (cost to be determined) and certificates of contact hours will be awarded as well.
